Young Grêmio striker Yuri Mamute is starting to interest a number of clubs in Europe after his terrific start to the Brasileiro season.

The 20 year old has two goals in three games and is starting to live up to his promising potential. According to Brazilian newspaper Zero Hora, Spartak Moscow have already sent scouts to watch him during Grêmio’s latest match against Figueirense.

Mamute didn’t start the game against Figueirense but came off the bench to provide the vital assist as they won 1-0. Brazil Under-20 coach Rogério Micale may now feel he has made a mistake after leaving Mamute out of his squad for the Under-20 World Cup this summer in New Zealand.
