Although this season may have been disappointing on a whole for Liverpool there is no doubt that Philippe Coutinho can end the campaign with his head held high.

The 22 year old has been a driving force in the heart of the reds midfield and was recognised in their awards ceremony by picking up four accolades.

He was named Player of the Year by supporters and fans, and won Goal of the Year and Performance of the Year as well. Coutinho was thrilled to be pick up the gongs and thanked his team mates.

“It’s very important for me because these awards were chosen by my fellow teammates and the supporters,” the attacker later told Liverpoolfc.com. “My teammates are the people I work with all year round, so being recognised by them makes it an important award for me which I treasure a lot.”
