Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is targeting a summer move for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho, according to reports in the British press, with compatriot Oscar likely to be the man to make way.
The Football-insider reports Mourinho believes that 22-year-old Coutinho is better suited to his team’s requirements, and is prepared to spend big money to bring the former Inter Milan player to Stamford Bridge.
Oscar, meanwhile, is reportedly being targeted by Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, although a potential price tag of £40 million is likely to be a stumbling block for any potential bidders.
