Agent Marisa Alija claims Robinho 'has some offers' after confirmation of Milan contract terminationSantos' Robinho (L) challenges Palmeiras' Lucas during their Campeonato Paulista match at Estádio Urbano Caldeira on 3rd May, 2015
Agent Marisa Alija has confirmed that Santos loanee Robinho 'has some offers' after it was agreed that he will rescind his contract with Milan.
The Brazil international - capped 96 times - has been widely expected to be moved on by the Rossoneri, given that he is no longer required by the club.
He was sent on loan to Santos in August 2014 and with that agreement coming to end on 30th June, talks have taken place to sort out his future.
Alija has now finalised those discussions and announced on Tuesday that Robinho would have his contract with Milan terminated at the start of July. The represenative also stated that his future beyond then is undecided.
"He will be free from 1st July," Alija explained to ESPN, as reported by website Football Italia.
"He has already signed the documents to rescind his contract. Now we'll think calmly about his future, he already has some offers.”
Robinho is widely expected to sign permanently with Santos, but there has also been reported interest from Cruzeiro.
The 31 year-old, who was signed by Milan from Manchester City in August 2010 for a reported fee of €18 million, has also been selected in Brazil’s provisional squad for the 2015 Copa América and may see his future affected in the short-term if he is chosen in Head Coach Dunga’s final 23.
A full time agreement with Santos would seem an obvious solution for Robinho. Last season, he managed four goals in 16 appearances, while this term he's already netted in their opening 2015 Brasileirão match - a 1-1 draw with Avaí.
Robinho was also selected in the Team of the year for the 2015 Campeonato Paulista - a tournament that Santos won.
