Manchester United youngster Andreas Pereira says he was never tempted to move away from ‘the best club in the world’, despite interest from PSG and Juventus earlier this year.
And the 19-year-old, who signed a new contract in April, former confirmed he is ready to fight for a first team at Old Trafford.
“I knew I wanted to stay at Manchester United because United is the best football club in the world,” he told the Manchester Evening News.
“I like to have a challenge. I am not scared of the challenge. I know it will be hard. Some of the best players in the world are in the team.
“But I have confidence in myself and if I keep doing the things I am doing now, I think I will achieve it. I know there are world class players but I have faith in my ability.”
