Argentina Head Coach Gerardo Martino has named his 30 man provisional squad for the 2015 Copa América.
The former Barcelona tactician has remained loyal to a large majority of the players he has used since replacing Alejandro Sabella in August 2014.
Former Corinthians forward Carlos Tevez is a notablee inclusion, while Nicolás Otamendi, who had a spell on loan at Atlético Mineiro in 2014, is also selected.
Amongst Martino’s choices, there are seven Premier League-based players, with Milton Casco, Maxi Rodríguez, Fernando Gago and Federico Mancuello the only Argentina-based players.
Martino now has until 1st June to trim his squad down to 23 players. After that, Argentina have a friendly with Bolivia on 6th June at Estadio del Bicentenario, before starting their Group B campaign against Paraguay on 13th June. They will then meet Uruguay and finish up against Jamaica.
