Ponte Preta took on Kaká’s Orlando City in a friendly yesterday, going down 3-2 to their American hosts at the Citrus Bowl.
Gilson and Borges both made their debuts for the Campinas side, who took an early lead before missing a penalty and being pegged back by an Orlando side featuring several reserves team members.
Former World Player of the Year Kaká unfortunately sustained a thigh injury and had to be brought off just 24 minutes into the game.
