The Football Association are set to review Sunday’s incident which saw Oscar suffer a blow to the head.

The 23 year old took a knock when he ran through on goal and collided with Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina. The incident happened in the 16 minute but Oscar went on to play until half time.

Chelsea are set to be criticised following their failure to withdraw the Brazilian straight away and now the FA want to set up new guidelines. Headway, the brain injury charity, are one of the organisations who are advising players not to risk any further injury after suffering a blow to the head.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho did not think Oscar suffered any concussion though.
“I’m not sure of that,” Mourinho said. “We saw his face was swollen, and he was having a tough time. We didn’t want to take any risks, so we made the decision to withdraw him at half time.”
