Gabriel Paulista is set to start Arsenal’s crunch match against Chelsea this weekend and will come up against an old enemy of the Gunners.
Didier Drogba has scored 15 goals in 15 matches against Arsene Wenger’s men and will lead the line again in the absense of Diego Costa. Paulista will be filling in at centre back for Per Mertesacker for Arsenal and will have to be on the top of his game.
24 year old Paulista has surprised many with his quick progress in the Premier League and many were calling for Wenger to start him even before Mertesacker’s injury. But fortunes can turn quickly and Drogba has overseen the downfall of many a defender in his time.
The match will kick off at 4pm GMT on Sunday.
