The former Chelsea defender is confident Paris Saint-Germain will regroup and have another crack at the Champions League next season.
He had no arguments with Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League exit and admitted Neymar and Luis Suárez are having an increasing influence on Luis Enrique’s side. Luiz told ITV: “They were the better team in both games. They controlled both games and they deserved to go through. We didn’t play a great match. We did not create opportunities like in the first match. We didn’t play well then but we had seven or eight chances to score. Neymar and Suárez; they know now what they need to do with the philosophy of Barça and they proved it tonight.”
