Eliminated from the Paulista championship following a penalty shoot against Palmeiras this weekend, Corinthians are set to face São Paulo tomorrow in the Copa Libertadores with a diminished squad with two of their strike-force set to miss out.

Peruvian striker Paolo Guerrero is already missing as he recovers from dengue fever while Emerson, who was suspended from the clash with Palmeiras, is doubtful after sustaining a knock to his right knee. The club’s medical staff have confirmed that no risks will be taken with the former São Paulo front-man, especially with a ten day gap between tomorrow and the Timão’s next game.
