Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Internacional duo Eduardo Sasha and Rodrigo Dourado, according to reports.

Respected Brazilian journalist João Batista Filho, as cited by website Off the Post, claims on his personal blog [JB Filho Reporter] that United sent scouts to watch the two players at Internacional’s recent Campeonato Gaúcho match against Cruzeiro-RS.

While both Sasha and Dourado reportedly impressed in that contest, it is current unclear whether United will follow up their initial interest with further scouting or a concrete bid.

Of the two, Sasha is the more established in the Internacional first-team. The 23 year-old, who can play as an attacking midfielder or in a wide role on either side, was loaned to Goiás earlier in his career, but has began to feature more regularly with Inter.

Last season, he scored four times in 12 Brasileirão appearances, while this term he"s featured in all five of Inter’s Copa Libertadores de América matches and netted twice.

His contract with the Nação Vermelha runs until June 2018, but he reportedly possesses an EU passport, which would make him a more viable option for United.

Dourado, in contrast to Sasha, is less experienced. The 20 year-old is a central or defensive midfielder and has featured just twice for Inter’s first-team, outside of the Campeonato Gaúcho.

His maiden appearance came in 2012 in a 2-2 draw with Sport Recife, while this season he played 90 minutes in a 4-0 win over Universidad de Chile in the Copa Libertadores de América.
