France: Hilton pounces for Montpellier
Caen were defeated 1-0 as Montpellier moved to within five points of the European places in France. Hilton was the hero as he struck with a fierce header in only the fourth minute of the match. It was Hilton’s third goal of the season.

Portugal: Benfica maintain their lead at the top 
Jonas was the hero yet again for Benfica as he struck twice in their 2-0 win against Belenenses. The 31 year old struck first in the 6th minute before doubling the lead in the 60th. The two goals were Jonas’ third brace in as many games and he now has 16th in the league and 26 in all competitions.
Estoril picked up a valuable win as they overcame Victoria Setubal 2-1. Despite losing at half time the visitors struck back thanks to goals from Kleber in the 46th minute and Seba in the 58th. 

Russia: Wanderson denies CSKA Moscow
Krasnodar maintained their four point advantage over CSKA Moscow in the race for a Champions League place after a tense 1-1 draw. CSKA thought they had won all three points before Wanderson struck in the 88th minute to snatch a point for Krasnodar.

Ukraine: Shakhtar enjoy a big win
Shakhtar Donetsk defeated Zorya 4-1 as they kept alive their hopes of the title in Ukraine. Despite going 1-0 down they fought back and Alex Teixeira scored twice after the break. Luiz Adriano also grabbed his eighth of the season with a penalty.
