Santos will play in their second successive Paulistão final after defeating São Paulo 2-1 yesterday.
The match was closely fought throughout but the deadlock was broken in the 35th minute when Geuvanio linked with Robinho to slot home and give Santos a half time lead.
Ricardo Oliveira looked to put the game to bed when he doubled the lead 15 minutes from the end but Luis Fabiano ensured an exciting finish when he pulled one back late on.
Santos will go on to face Palmeiras in a double headed final. They will hope they can do better than last year when they lost to Ituano at the same stage.
