FC Porto pulled off a shock result yesterday when they beat Bayern Munich 3-1 in their Champions League quarter-final first-leg tie.

Julen Lopetegui’s starting-11 contained five Brazilians; Fabiano in goal, Danilo, Maicon and Alex Sandro at the back Casemiro in central midfielder, while former Atlético Mineiro midfielder Evandro came on for the final five minutes of the game.

And Casemiro admitted after the match that the hard part is yet to come ahead of the second-leg in Munich next week.

He said: “We have a good advantage. But this is the Champions League and we know it will be very difficult with the match in Munich. The whole team is to be congratulated. We played with heart, determination and will. We will keep our feet on the ground because until now we have not yet won anything.”
