Head Coach Vincenzo Montella has admitted goalkeeper Neto is not 100% fit for Fiorentina’s UEFA Europa League quarter-final first leg against Dynamo Kyiv.

The former Brazil under-23 international – capped twice – had been out of favour since declaring that he intended to leave the club when his contract expires in June, but was brought back in to the team by Montella due to an injury to replacement Ciprian Tătărușanu.

Neto has gone on to play eleven consecutive games in all competitions following Tătărușanu’s back problem, but now Montella may be without both he and the Romanian for the trip to Kyiv.

"Both of our goalkeepers are not in top physical condition," he said, as reported by website Football Italia.

"Both Neto and [Ciprian] Tătărușanu are not at 100 per cent, so my advice for the Dynamo players is not to get too close to the goal, just have a go from the halfway line!"

Neto was signed by Fiorentina from Atlético Paranaense for a reported fee of €3.5 million in January 2011.

The 25 year-old has gone on to make 90 appearances so far for the club and will feature for the fourth time in the UEFA Europa League this season if he starts at NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium on Thursday.
