Gabriel Paulista has revealed that the strength of the Premier League is one of the main reasons he joined Arsenal.
Paulista joined the Gunners in January from Villarreal and has had a positive impact on the team in his short spell at the club.
“[The strength of the league is] one of the reasons why I wanted to play here," Paulista explained. “It"s a tight competition with no weak teams. Clubs at the bottom of the table compete at the same level with the leaders."
The Brazilian also praised his team mates who are helping Arsenal finish the season strongly.
“Every player knows his quality, we have top-quality training facilities and an excellent team.If you look at our individual qualities we make a great team. That"s why we are playing well especially now in the last weeks of the season."
