John Terry believes that Chelsea will not be affected by Diego Costa’s injury in their battle for the league title.

Costa was injured at the weekend during Chelsea’s 3-2 win away at Hull City and has since withdrawn from international duty. The striker is not expected to be out for too long but Terry feels that Chelsea have a like for like replacement even if the worst comes to the worst.

“Hopefully Diego is okay but Loic (Remy) always gets chances, he’s been a really big signing for us,” insisted Terry. “He’s a great asset for us to throw on with 20 minutes to go or even if Diego is out.”

Loic Remy has been biding his time and with a chance conversion wait as good as Costa’s (33.3%) many feel Chelsea have nothing to fear now that Costa might be out.
