Gabriel Paulista has vowed to make his call up to Brazil an incentive to improve his game to even greater heights.

Paulista has never played for Brazil but has been rewarded for his great form since signing for Arsenal in January with a late call up to Dunga’s squad.

“I’ll play the best possible way,” Paulista said. “It is a valuable opportunity and I hope it is the first call of many. It will be an incentive for me to continue working hard at Arsenal. It will not be easy, because the Brazilian team has great quality, but I will work hard to get my place in the team.”

Brazil play two friendly matches in the international break, one against Chile and one against France.

“I’ll play the best possible way,” he said. “It is a valuable opportunity and I hope it is the first call of many.
