Lazio are getting better every game they are playing, according to Brazilian playmaker Felipe Anderson who’s been in sensational form.
The talented 21-year-old was once again crucial as he opened the scoring against Hellas Verona on Sunday to earn a 2-0 win for the capital club and he was quick to speak of the confidence surrounding the club. He told Sky Sport Italia: “This is the real Lazio, a team that runs, attacks and always looks to help teammates. We are growing game by game, we believe in third place as we are there and we must focus on ourselves and our performances, every game will be a battle. I’m happy to have scored again and to be an important part of the team, we are now already thinking about the next game. The coach has said that there are no attackers or defenders, we all must help and then once we have recovered the ball we can showcase our quality.”
