Agent Andrea Bagnoli has admitted that Sampdoria forward Éder sees his Italy call up as a “dream come true."

The 28 year-old, who was born in Brazil [Lauro Müller, Santa Catarina], has chosen to accept Head Coach Antonio Conte’s call up for the Euro 2016 qualifier against Bulgaria and a friendly with England later this month.

Speaking about Éder’s selection, Bagnoli noted that his client is delighted to be chosen and also stated he"s content at Sampdoria.

"I spoke to him last night, he’s going through a happy moment in his career," he told Tuttomercatoweb, as reported by website Football Italia.

"It’s a dream come true for him. As for the future, he has a contract until 2018 and is very happy at Samp."

As well as Éder, Palermo’s Argentina-born midfielder Franco Vázquez has been included by Conte. For Bagnoli, the duo could be a way forward for Italy.

"They could be the start of a long series of call-ups, because evidently Conte sees in Vázquez and Éder the kind of characteristics that suit his football," he added.

Éder’s call up comes on the back of a wonderful season at Sampdoria. In 26 appearances, he has scored eleven goals, whilst also providing five assists.
