Brazilian full back Danilo is back in training after recovering from a blow in last week’s Champions League match against Basel that left him unconscious.

Porto released a statement announcing the international’s return to the group. Danilo is a key part of Julen Lopetegui’s tactical blueprint and his performances this season have attracted many potential suitors, among them Real Madrid. In the match against Basel Danilo, 23, was made captain in the absence of the injured Jackson Martínez. Danilo suffered the blow to his head in a collision with own goalkeeper, Fabiano. He was treated on the pitch and fitted with a neck brace before being transferred to hospital, where he underwent a series of tests to assess the extent of his injury.
