Almeria loanee Wellington Silva is confident he can make an impression at Arsenal next season.
The 22 year-old, who was signed from Fluminense in January 2011, has been loaned out to Spain for the past four years, but after finally receiving a work permit, he is ready to show his worth at Arsenal.
“My representative spoke with me recently because we’re talking about a renewal, given that I only have a year left at Arsenal. I want to be there for pre-season and I’m delighted to hear the news that I’ll be returning,” he said, as reported by Marca.
“Since I joined Arsenal, I’ve always dreamed of playing for them. I’m hoping I do well in pre-season so that I can stay there. But I’m still with Almeria for the moment and my thoughts have to be here. We need to achieve our goal of avoiding relegation.”
