Felipe Anderson has admitted he is hoping for a call up to the Brazil national team.

The Lazio midfielder has been one of the standout players in Serie A this season and with the Selecao renewing under Head Coach Dunga, he concedes that he is looking to be involved.

“Every player wants to represent his country, but I wait with patience and focus on doing well with Lazio.,” he said, as reported by Sky Sport Italia.

With Anderson fast becoming one of Lazio’s most important players, reports have linked him with a move away from the club. The youngster insists however, that he is happy to stay and looking to sign a new deal.

“The contract renewal is close and hopefully we can complete it soon,” he added.
