Despite a fantastic start to his career in a Chelsea shirt Diego Costa is now struggling to live up to the high standards he set himself.
New stats show just how much his goal scoring has stalled. The striker scored 17 goals in his first 25 games in England but now only has one goal in seven games.
Before January 18th, Costa took 31% of his goalscoring opportunities while that figure is now as low as 8%.
Costa’s poor form is one of the reasons why Chelsea now find themselves out of the Champions League after their defeat by Paris Saint Germain. Chelsea fans will now hope it doesn’t stall their title charge.
