News has emerged that Chelsea are targeting Paris Saint Germain’s Marquinhos ahead of their Champions League clash tonight.
Marquinhos has long been a target for Manchester United but now Chelsea have joined the list of admirers. The 20 year joined PSG in 2013 for over €30 million but for most of his career in Paris he has been on the substitutes bench.
The Brazilian born centre back has only recently managed to force his way into the PSG team. Manager Laurent Blanc will hope his youngster is now satisfied after Marquinhos expressed his displeasure over his lack of playing time last year.
It is believed Marquinhos would cost an eye watering £40 million for either Chelsea or Manchester United.
