Douglas Costa confirmed Chelsea"s offer, and now during a new interview, once again reveals his desire to play in England. Costa told the official Copa América website : “Yes, I had contact [with Chelsea], and the chance to work with a coach like Jose Mourinho is always appealing. I am very grateful for the interest he showed in me. I see a big difference in him. He is a very intelligent coach and has won wherever he has been. Of course, every player dreams of playing in a big league like the Premier League, but today my thoughts are with helping the club in the game ahead of us."
Douglas Costa was then asked if going to a ‘bigger" league would improve his chances with the Seleção. He replied: “Of course, the Premier League is a great platform, but it’s true that Dunga observes all the competitions. If you are playing well in your club, you could get a chance in the Seleção."
