São Paulo coach Muricy Ramalho has cautioned striker Alexandre Pato against complacency amid his good form.
The 25-year-old Pato has netted six times for São Paulo in 2015 as he aims to regain a berth in Brazil"s squad for this year"s Copa América. Pato is in the final year of a two-year loan deal from Corinthians, who bought the striker from AC Milan for in January 2013. Muricy told Globo Esporte: “If he plays on the edge, that will bring out the best in him. He knows that we give everybody a chance. He has come into the team and done well but if he doesn"t do well in the next game he will be dropped, otherwise he could become complacent. Together, [Luís Fabiano and Kardec] find it difficult but Pato provides great movement. That makes life difficult for opponents and opens up space for teammates. Pato is an ideal choice to play alongside both of those players. Every time he is on the pitch with one of those two, we score goals."
