Bright start for Alexandre Pato in 2015
The Brazilian striker may have started the year just like he wanted, but the real test would be in the Brasileirão.
São Paulo striker Alexandre Pato has been on very good form in the Campeonato Paulista this year has now scored 6 goals in the competition, so far. Pato started for São Paulo alongside Luís Fabiano on Saturday and scored twice at the Morumbi in the 4-0 thrashing of Audax. It was the second time the striker scored two or more goals in a match in this year's tournament as he grabbed a hat-trick on his first start against Capivariano. Pato is on loan at São Paulo from Corinthians and has a contract until the end of this year with his salary being divided between both clubs. With the two goals against Audax, Pato now has 18 goals [in 48 matches] to his name in a São Paulo shirt, one more than what he managed at Corinthians in 62 games.
