Germany: Bayer Leverkusen draw at Augsburg
A last minute equaliser denied Beyer Leverkusen all three points as they drew 2-2 with Augsburg. Caiuby was introduced in the second half and the Brazilian made an immediate impact as he scored to make it 1-1.
England: Coutinho scores a cracker for Liverpool
Liverpool moved into Champions League contention as they beat Southampton 2-0 away from home. Philippe Coutinho opened the scoring in the third minute with an unbelievable stike into the top right hand corner.
Spain: Charles leads the way
Calta Vigo moved up to eighth in La Liga with a 2-0 victory at Deportivo La Coruna. Charles opened the scoring for the away side early on in the second half with the Brazilian striker scoring his third goal in six games.
France: Paris SG stroll to win
Paris Saint-Germain enhanced their title hopes with a 3-1 win at home to Toulouse. Last year's champions were already 2-1 up when Thiago Silva struck his first goal of the season from a free kick. They now travel to London to face Chelsea in the Champions League.
Portugal: Paraiba saves Paços
Paraiba rescued a point for Paços Ferreira in their game against Guimaraes on Friday night. Guimaraes were 2-1 down when Paraiba pounced in the 87th minute to rescue a draw.
Benfica came from behind to win 3-1 at Moreirense and maintain their lead at the top of the table. They were 1-0 down when Luisão struck in the 58th minute and Jonas later completed the scoring fifteen minutes from time.
Elsewhere, Leo Bonatini couldn't prevent Estoril losing 2-1 at home to Academica despite scoring five minutes from time.
