Lucas Moura has been sent to Qatar by Paris Saint- Germain in a bid to speed up his recovery process.

Moura suffered a groin strain in the 2-2 draw with Caen just over a week ago and it was recently revealed that he will miss the next four weeks.

The 22 year old has now been sent to the Aspire sporting complex, at Aspetar hospital in Qatar. The hospital is renowned for it’s world class treatment in Sports Medecine and Orthopedics.

The injury means Moura will miss the second leg against Chelsea in the Champions League. This will disappoint the Brazilian who recently made it clear he wanted revenge after losing to the same team in the competition last year.

“When we saw that we would be playing them again, we felt even stronger, more motivated and since the draw we’ve carried in our head the idea that we have a new chance to build a new history.”
