Liverpool's Coutinho reaches 200 career games
Philippe Coutinho played his 200th career game on Thursday night against Beşiktaş in the UEFA Europa League last-32.
The Brazilian playmaker started off his career at Vasco where he played 43 matches. He was then picked up by Italian team Inter Milan at the age of 18 and managed 50 matches there, but wasn't able to establish himself as a regular in Italy. Coutinho was loaned out to La Liga outfit Espanyol and he played 16 matches for them. It was in his current club Liverpool where he registered the most number of matches in his career. The 22-year-old has so far represented the English club in 86 games and has also scored the most goals in his career for them. Coutinho scored 5 goals each for Vasco, Inter Milan and Espanyol, while he has 11 to his name in a Liverpool shirt. He's yet to score a goal for the national team in his 5 appearances.
