Dani Alves has initiated the strategy to prompt the club to finally sit down and negotiate with him, or, he will leave in the summer.
The 31-year-old, who will be out of contract on June 30 and has the fans on his side, posted a message on Instagram on Thursday that sounded like a farewell. He shared a photo alongside all of the club’s Brazilians with a text that read: “Family of Brazil, my pride, to be part of this quintet does me good. If I have to go, it will be with courage, with a nice smile and with happiness in my heart.”
The player’s agent Dinorah Santana left things clear during an interview on Partido de las 12 on Cadena COPE. She said: “We are more sad than disappointed with Barça, the club have not approached us at any moment while he have waited for a call.”
