Neymar saga continues to drag on almost two-years after the Brazilian joined Barcelona during the summer of 2013.
As mentioned in Inside Spanish Football, a São Paulo court has called Neymar to Brazil to testify in the lawsuit by DIS, who owned 40% of the player’s rights, asking Wagner Ribeiro, the agent of Neymar, to present all documentation relating to the winger’s transfer from Santos to Barcelona. DIS allege that due to the admission by Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu that the transfer fee was more than the originally stated €57 million, they are owed more than the €6.8m they received from the pool of €17.1m, as the transfer fee amount has swelled to over €90m.
