Bernard has suffered an inflammation in his ankle ligament and will miss the fixture. The injury isn’t very serious according to the club doctor and there’s no need of surgery. Shakhtar coach Mircea Lucescu was asked about the Brazilian winger’s injury but didn’t sound too concerned about it. He told: “He is injured, but we have no problem. He hasn’t been a key player here, and we have other Brazilians to step up.”
