Some Atlético Madrid players including Gabi and Cani had complained about Neymar’s provocative playing style and claimed the Brazilian captain will have problems in the future. Neymar replied to this by saying: “I am not provocative. That’s my playing style. If others think my style of play I’d provocative, then it’s not my problem.” Neymar had also posted a message on social network which read: “No one is forced to like someone, but there’s a thing called respect.” Atlético Madrid president Enrique Cerezo said: “Neymar is a fantastic player. I don’t think he provokes anybody. If someone thinks Neymar provokes people they should have a word with him and tell him not to do it. I didn’t see anything so I can’t tell him anything.”
