Filipe Luís has told his ex-teammate João Miranda he wants to return to Atlético Madrid, according to reports from Spain.
José Mourinho splashed out £15.8 million to bring the Brazilian full-back to Stamford Bridge last summer, but he has started only a few Premier League games as the Blues boss prefers César Azpilicueta. Spanish paper AS claim that Filipe Luís has realised how content he was in Madrid, where he spent four years following his move from Deportivo. It’s suggested that he confessed to fellow Brazilian Miranda that he would like to come back to the club which he helped inspire to the La Liga title.
