Chinese Super League club Chongqing Lifan have agreed a deal for Metalist Kharkiv centre forward Jajá Coelho.

The 28 year-old, who can also play out wide and as a second striker, joins fellow Brazilian Guto at the newly-promoted outfit.

Jajá had scored five goals in 17 appearances across all competitions for Metalist so far this season and leaves with Ihor Rakhayev’s side positioned 4th in the Ukrainian Premier League.

His switch to Chongqing is the second time he has moved on from Metalist. Having first arrived from Getafe in February 2008, he was sold to Trabzonspor for a reported fee of €4.2 million in August 2010.

After subsequent spells with Al Ahli Club and Internacional (on loan), he returned to Metalist for around €2.5 million in January 2013.

His second stint with the club was broken up by loan switches to Kayserispor and Coritiba and he is now the latest Brazilian, joining the likes of Diego Tardelli and Ricardo Goulart, to move on to China.
