English Premier League

Midfielder Paulinho was brought on as a 94th minute substitute, as Tottenham Hotspur beat Arsenal 2-1 in the North London derby. Defender Gabriel was an unused substitute for the visitors.

At Villa Park, Willian, Oscar and Ramires started in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa. The former assisted Eden Hazard for the Blues’ opener.

Fernandinho and Fernando both started Manchester City’s 1-1 draw with Hull City. The latter was substituted on 46 minutes for Jesús Navas.

At Goodison Park, Lucas Leiva and Philippe Coutinho started in Liverpool’s 0-0 draw against Everton. They were replaced by Joe Allen and Daniel Sturridge respectively.

Italian Serie A

Defender Rafael Marques played 90 minutes as Hellas Verona lost 3-1 at home to Torino. Goalkeeper Rafael and Campanharo were unused substitutes, while Fernandinho was brought on to replace Javier Saviola after 80 minutes. For Torino, forward Amauri had 18 minutes as a substitute and Bruno Peres played the whole match.

Defender Alex played 90 minutes as Milan lost 3-1 at Juventus. Goalkeeper Rubinho was an unused substitute for the home side.

Outcast stopper Neto also remained on the bench for Fiorentina’s 3-2 win over Atalanta, while midfielder Zé Eduardo replaced Nico Pulzetti after 58 minutes of Cesena’s 2-0 loss at Empoli.

In Naples, Rafael Cabral and Jorginho featured in Napoli’s 3-1 win against Udinese. Henrique was also an unused substitute. Allan, Guilherme, Danilo and Gabriel Silva all played for the visitors, with Jadson remaining on the bench.

At Stadio Sant’Elia, João Pedro and Danilo Avelar started for Cagliari as they lost 2-1 to Roma. The latter assisted Paul-Jose M’Poku’s consolation. For the away side, Maicon was an unused substitute.

Elsewhere, forward Éder scored a 9th minute equaliser to earn Sampdoria a 1-1 draw with Sassuolo, while Juan Jesus, Dodô and Emerson featured in Internazionale’s 3-0 win over Palermo. Hernanes remained on the bench.

French Ligue 1

Midfielder Pedro Henrique played 71 minutes as Rennes drew 1-1 with Marseille, while Diego assisted Benjamin Moukandjo for Stade Reims’ only goal in their 3-1 loss to Lorient.

Elsewhere, veteran defender Hilton was given 90 minutes in Montpellier’s 2-1 defeat against LOSC, Mariano played 90 minutes for Bordeaux and Fabinho and Wallace started Monaco’s 1-0 loss to Guingamp.

At Stade Gerland, Lucas Moura, Thiago Motta, Marquinhos, David Luiz, Thiago Silva and Maxwell all featured as Paris Saint-Germain drew 1-1 with Lyon.

German Bundesliga

Borussia Mönchengladbach forward Raffael played 90 minutes in their 1-0 defeat to Schalke 04, while Naldo and Roberto Firmino featured as VfL Wolfsburg beat TSG 1899 Hoffenheim 3-0.

At Mercedes-Benz Arena, Dante played 90 minutes in Bayern Munich’s 2-0 win over VfB Stuttgart, while defender Marcelo scored an own goal during Hannover 96’s 2-1 loss at Hamburger SV.

Elsewhere, Wendell started for Bayer Leverkusen and Caiuby, Lucas Piazon and Anderson Bamba featured in FC Augsburg’s 2-2 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Spanish La Liga

Miranda and Guilherme Siqueira started in Atlético de Madrid’s 4-0 win over city rivals Real. The latter assisted Saúl Ñíguez for the second goal, while Lucas Silva was an unused substitute for the visitors.

Elsewhere, defender Weligton played 90 minutes in Málaga’s 4-1 loss at Levante, Charles came on as a substitute as Celta de Vigo drew 1-1 at Real Sociedad and Edimar started for Córdoba in their 2-1 defeat to Almería. Wellington Silva got two assists for the visitors, with Michel Macedo netting both goals.

At Alfonso Pérez, Naldo played 90 minutes for Getafe, while Diego Alves started Valencia’s 2-1 win over Espanyol, with Filipe Augusto an unused substitute, and Neymar netted in Barcelona’s 5-2 victory against Athletic Club. Daniel Alves also featured in that match, as did Rafinha and Adriano.
