Brazilian playmaker Éverton Ribeiro was unveiled by Dubai based club Al-Ahli after signing him from Brasileirão champions Cruzeiro. Éverton revealed that he had offers from Europe but didn’t meet the demands of the club. He was quoted in Globo Esporte: “Yes, there were offers and talks with Manchester United, Monaco and AC Milan. But all these offers didn’t please Cruzeiro and they didn’t let me go. I decided to come here and I am very happy about that. The only offer that satisfied all parties was of Al-Ahli. I talked to Dunga and he said no problem. Al-Ahli is known around the world.”
