Germany: Firmino can’t prevent Hoffenheim loss

Roberto Firmino scored his fifth goal in eighteen games but could not prevent Hoffenheim losing away at Augsburg. Firmino struck in the 45th minute but his team lost 3-1.

Spain: Neymar scores yet again

Neymar scored his 22nd goal of the season in a match where Rafinha also scored his first league goal for Barcelona. The club from Catalonia had to come from behind twice to claim the three points in a 3-2 victory over Villarreal. First Neymar equalised on the stroke of half time and then Rafinha also pounced after Villarreal had gone 2-1 up early in the second half. Messi completed the scoring.

Italy: Torino stroll to victory

Bruno Peres scored his second goal of the season as Torino thrashed Sampdoria 5-1. Torino were already three goals in front when Peres collected the ball in the last minute before slotting home.

Portugal: Benfica romp to win

Two Brazilians got on the scoresheet as Benfica beat Boavista 3-0 at home. Lima struck first in the 32nd minute to score his seventh of the seaon and Jonas converted a penalty in the 54th minute to complete the scoring.
Academica picked up a point in their battle for survival with a second goal of the season for Brazilian right back Aderlan.
