Sporting Director Ralf Rangnick is confident defender Rodnei can settle quickly at RB Leipzig.
The 29 year-old has joined on loan from sister club Red Bull Salzburg and though he is yet to make an appearance so far this season, Rangnick believes he has the experience to become a key part of Alexander Zorniger’s squad.
“He completed the winter training camp with Red Bull Salzburg and was able to prepare fully without any problems,” he said, as reported by Vavel.
“Rodnei brings 2. Bundesliga experience and is also very familiar with the way we play. We are pleased that we were able to sign another option for our defensive area in Rodnei.”
