Corinthians striker Paolo Guerrero has revealed he is looking for a move to a European club once his current contract ends this summer.

The Peruvian, who spent 10 years playing in Germany for Bayern Munich and Hamburg before moving to Brazil in 2012, where he scored the winning goal in Corinthians’ Club World Cup triumph over Chelsea.

In an interview with Spanish radio station Cadena Cope Madrid, the 31-year-old said: "Yes [I would like to return to Europe]. My intention, in fact, was to return after the Club World Cup. It was to come to Brazil, win, then go back to Europe.

"But it was not possible, because Corinthians closed the doors to everyone."

Guerrero also admitted that a move to a Spanish club was a possibility.

He added: "It would be tempting to be in the Spanish League, with Messi, Neymar and others. But I have not decided anything yet."
