Paulinho has failed to establish himself at Tottenham after the £17 million transfer from Corinthians.
After the departure of André Villas-Boas who bought him from Brazil, he has been down the pecking order at Spurs. As reported by the Evening Standard, the Brazilian midfielder has asked the club to give a clarification over his future and that several clubs in Spain and Italy are interested in him. Paulinho also lost his place from the Brazil national team after the World Cup. Recall that both Corinthians and Cruzeiro wanted Paulinho this month but Tottenham didn’t want to release him on loan. But the report suggests that Spurs would now be willing to let him go on loan as they know it’s difficult to recycle a price close to what the club paid for him.
