Éverton Ribeiro has an irrefutable offer from Al-Ahli in the UAE and is pushing to leave the club.
As mentioned in Superesportes MG, the Dubai club are willing to offer €9 million for 60% economic-rights of Éverton but Cruzeiro seem to be holding out for €10m. A transfer can happen in the coming days, but club president insists there are other offers. The salary offered to the player is believed to be around €93,000 per-week and Éverton is putting pressure on the club to release him. Cruzeiro president Gilvan told in his press-conference: “We hope he stays in Cruzeiro. Not just pressure from the player and agent, it comes from other clubs also. He has proposals from Chinese clubs, Arabia, Dubai, Italy, Ukraine… He"s wanted by clubs from different countries, even with offers better than that of Dubai [Al-Ahli]. We"re trying for the best for the club but the player doesn"t play in the place we decide. He has to think what"s best for him, so a transfer is stuck."
