England: Oscar in red hot form

Oscar scored twice in Chelsea’s 5-0 victory over Swansea to make it seven goals in the season. Diego Costa also scored twice as Chelsea opened up a five point lead at the top of the Premier League.

Spain: Jonathan is Elche’s savior again

Elche picked up their second win in a row with a hard fought 1-0 vitory against Levante. Jonathan scored the only goal in the 12th minute as Elche remain 19th.

France: David Luiz opens his account

Paris SG were losing 1-0 at home to Evian TG when David Luiz struck his first goal for the club in the 30th minute. His powerful header set the precedent as PSG eventually won 4-2.

Italy: Cagliari snatch a point

Udinese and Cagliari played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in a game dominated by Brazilians. João Pedro gave Cagliari the lead in the 39th minute but the visitors were pegged back by Allan who equalised for Udinese early in the second half. Udinese grabbed a second goal shortly after but Cagliari grabbed a point in the last minute due to a penalty from Danilo Avelar.

Portugal: Kleber strikes for Estoril

Estoril moved up to tenth in the table after coming from behind to beat Boavista 2-1. Kleber grabbed both goals with a strike in each half.
Meanwhile, Benfica maintained their six point lead at the top of the table by beating Maritimo 4-0. Lima scored their final goal in the 64th minute.
Belenenses beat Gil Vicente 2-0 to move up to sixth. Deyverson netted the second goal in the 38th minute.
