West Brom have targeted Elche striker Jonathan in their search for more goals.
The Brazilian has seven goals and five assists for the struggling Spanish side and has attracted attention from a number of different clubs. He is currently on loan from Pescara in Italy so West Brom would need to deal with them in any transaction.
According to various reports West Brom manager Tony Pulis sent a scout to Spain to watch the striker last week. Two assists against Athletic Bilbao will have impressed.
Jonathan’s agent, Mino Raiola, refused to give any official statement so as to not “mess up possible negotiations.” Read into that what you will.
