Cruzeiro defender Léo says he’s unaware of a proposal from Sporting and that he’s focused on Cruzeiro.
Portuguese press claimed that Sporting are interested in having Léo this month but the player insists he didn’t receive any offer from them. He chose not to give much attention towards rumors and is fully focused on the upcoming season with Cruzeiro. He was quoted in Globo Esporte: “I prefer to leave that to the board and agents. My work today and my mind is here with Cruzeiro. My focus is to have a good pre-season and prepare well to have a great Libertadores. That’s my goal.” Léo had renewed his contract at Cruzeiro last season and it runs until the end of 2016.
