Ricardo Goulart visited Cruzeiro’s training ground to thank teammates and staff on Tuesday.
His transfer to Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande for a fee of €15 million was confirmed yesterday. In an interview with SporTV, Goulart admitted that he’s leaving the club with a heavy heart. He told: “We know life goes on, so they understand my situation. I’m very happy to be part of two consecutive years in the history of Cruzeiro. Two fantastic years that will not go from my memory. I came to thank everyone, and see you soon if God’s willing.”
Goulart won two Brazilian championships and also the Campeonato Mineiro in 2014.
