Palmeiras have a friendly fixture scheduled at home against Chinese club Shandong Luneng this month.
The match is scheduled for the 17th of January and it will be the first opportunity of coach Oswaldo to test the players this season. The Chinese club have players that played in Brazil before; namely Vagner Love, Montillo, Junior Urso and Aloísio. They’re coached by ex-Atlético Mineiro manager Cuca. Palmeiras would also be looking for their first win at their new stadium. The first official game of Oswaldo’s team will be on February 1, against Audax.
